The Hand of God

Someone sent this to me earlier this week. Have you seen this picture?

In case you aren’t seeing it clearly, this is a picture of a cloud that is in the shape of a hand, a RIGHT hand. From what I understand, there was no trickery or Photoshop involved. Pretty cool, huh?

This picture reminds me of a great passage of scripture that was reading just the other day:

Though the Lord is on high, he looks upon the lowly, but the proud he knows from afar. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes, with your right hand you save me.

The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your love, O Lord, endures forever—do not abandon the works of your hands. (Psalm 138:6-8)

Sometimes I need a gentle reminder of his presence, don’t you?
